When Are Flowers Most Romantic? – Valentine’s Day?
Every year millions of lovers celebrate Valentines Day with Flowers, chocolates, candies, candlelight dinners and of course a special date with their love. But did you know that Valentines Day was created to brighten the lives of so many other groupes of people, not just for lovers. There are so many ways to celebrate Valentines Day. So, outside of this huge lovers holiday, when are flowers the most romantic?
After learning that a poll was taken on men who like to receive flowers, I wanted to know more. Why do people like to receive flowers? When are they the most romantic? A poll I recently read brought forth an interesting idea & result …
Men and women consider flowers to be romantic for many different reasons; but all of the more interesting responses reflected a certain amount of emotional caring. And men are nearly as touched by receiving flowers as woman are.
With nearly a split decision between all of the occasions, type, and note attached – flowers seem to be able to deliver the desired result (showing you care) in many different ways.
Being in this business for over 20 years, I have noted that, his or her favorite color/colors are as important as the fact you thought about that special person.
The Note attached; sometimes says more than the flowers themselves. Read a special message from the sender, then, all of a sudden, the flowers look completely different then they did when they were first presented to you. (or a loved one)
The message is a huge part of flower giving, when ordering flowers, take a moment and consider this, and what you will say to to the one whom you are sending flowers to.
Flowers are at there most romantic when they come unexpectidly. When a man or woman is not expecting a gift, is when it becomes most romantic.
Giving and receiving flowers are a wonderfully romantic way to tell someone you are thinking of them and that you care.
Three tips when sending flowers:
- 1. Don’t always go for the typical red rose – find out his/her favorite type and color of flower
- 2. Think about it then write a special note on the card
- 3. celebrate special occasions with flowers – they last several days after the occasion!
All in all – the beauty of giving flowers is finding out that the flowers themselves were not the main draw – it was the meaning behind them. Giving their favorite type shows you pay attention and know your partner. Writing a special note goes that extra step to show you care. By sending flowers on special occasions – couples are celebrating their special days together. And lastly, the extravagance of the bouquet did not dictate whether or not they were appreciated – The thought of flowers go a long way.
Lastly Noted:
Choose one that is local to your sending area and that may offer more then just flowers. Check out what services and products (gifts) they offer. If you send on a regular basis and you are satisfied with your choice of the floral establishment, then stick with them, the more you purchase, and the more regular a customer you become, then the more you should receive and likely you will receive special treatment.
